I have set this thread up, so people can ask questions regarding the current setup of this webpage, and have a bit of a chat before the season starts.

CCSC is situated in a great location, with easy access to what will be the Olympic sailing waters of 2012. The club accomodates for dinghy and keelboat sailors alike. However with pressure on the dinghy fleet to get more people out sailing and ultimately racing, i have set up this page to encourage communication and general banter between the Castle Cove Sailing Club Asymmetric Fleet. In order to encourage more people to turn out RACING!!!! www.ccsc.org.uk

I plan to 'do up' the asymmetric noticeboard in the club. I need pictures of ccsc asymetric sailors sailing, and a little comment on why you like your boat etc and who its good for. If i could have that from the active racers e.g-
RS400
K6
Laser 2000
int 14
musto skiff
buzz
i have probably missed a few.
I've got a few photos but I can't find one that makes the RS400 look exciting.
Well done for taking the initiative and setting this up Hugh. I'll certainly keep an eye on what's being posted. Who knows, it may even persuade me to get my boat out?
Pete - if you can't find any photos that make the 400 look exciting, what about some that show it looking really, really painful?
Thanks for that and well if you need a crew sometime on a sunday afternoon im sure i or Fred can be persuaded....
Hugh
well done hugh! I have one or two picks, but not looking as exciting as the Laser 2000!!!
On the really quite new members group thingy from the club website it says that the preferred classes for the club are-
Scorpion, Laser, Wayfarer, Contender, 29er, Buzz, B14, Topper, Mirror and Optimist
- dont trust this list!!!!!
Pete, I see there is another laser 2000 joining you...he says he wants to race - I can picture it now as two laser 2000s match race it round the course...are you sure you can take the added stress?
It's not sailing against other boats that is stressful - it's sailing with Jane that gets the adrenaline going wondering what she's going to do next.
Pete did you talk to the new member on Sunday?
Also Pete, John who runs the ccsc website has suggested we update the asymmetric page.
are you going to do it hugh?
Have done....thankyou very much!
